Terms of Service — QR Code Generator

1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using the QR Code Generator app (“the App”) from the Wix App Market, you (“Site Owner”) agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install the App.
2. Description of Service
QR Code Generator is a Wix App Market application that lets you create QR codes for links, Wi-Fi networks, contact cards, email, phone calls, text messages and plain text, style them, download them as PNG or SVG files, show them on your Wix website, and create editable codes whose destination is a redirect in your site’s own settings. Some features are available only under a paid subscription.
3. License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Wix websites you own or manage.
4. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for what your codes contain and where they lead, and for testing a code with a phone before printing it. In particular you must:
- publish only content you are entitled to publish, including any personal data of other people;
- keep the destinations of editable codes working (an editable code works only while your site is published and its redirect exists);
- not use codes to mislead people or to lead them to unlawful content.
The sample codes added when the App is first opened are fictional, for illustration only.
5. Prohibited Uses
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App; resell or sublicense it; or create derivative works based on it.
6. Free and Paid Plans
Free plan: up to 500 codes of every type, all colors, dot, corner and frame styles, PNG downloads up to 1000 px and SVG downloads, two editable codes and the site widget. A small “Made with QR Code Generator” line is shown under the widget.
Premium plan: editable codes for all of your codes, a logo in the middle of a code, PNG downloads up to 4000 px, and removal of the “Made with” line. Payments are processed by Wix through the Wix Billing System. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Returning to the Free plan deletes nothing and does not stop any code; editable codes beyond the Free allowance keep working but cannot be changed until you upgrade.
Refunds: subject to Wix’s standard refund policy for App Market subscriptions.
7. Service Availability
We strive to keep the App in good working order but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, freedom from bugs, or that every phone or scanner app reads every design. A change to an editable code can take a few minutes to reach phones. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App with reasonable notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of business, revenue, or data, including the cost of printed materials. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to uninstall it.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, the content of your codes, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is located, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
