Terms of Service — Launch Countdown

1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using the Launch Countdown app (“the App”) from the Wix App Market, you (“Site Owner”) agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install the App.
2. Description of Service
Launch Countdown is a Wix App Market application that lets you set up countdown timers for launches, product drops, sales and events, display them on your Wix website through a widget, and choose what happens when the timer reaches zero. Some features are available only under a paid subscription.
3. License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Wix websites you own or manage.
4. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for the dates, texts, links and images you configure. In particular you must:
- set launch dates and time zones correctly and keep them up to date if a launch moves;
- use only images, names and logos you own or are licensed to use — game, film and product titles, logos and key art usually belong to their publishers, and the App is not affiliated with any of them;
- make sure any sale, offer or deadline you count down to is genuine and complies with the consumer-protection rules that apply to you (for example rules on fake urgency).
You may not use the App for unlawful purposes or to mislead visitors.
5. Prohibited Uses
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App; resell or sublicense it; or create derivative works based on it.
6. Free and Paid Plans
Free plan: one live countdown, fixed-date and visitor-local launch times, four themes, add to calendar, eight languages, and a message, count-up or hide at zero. A small “Powered by Launch Countdown” line is shown under the widget.
Premium plan: more live countdowns, daily and personal (evergreen) timers, all themes, custom colors and background images, a sticky bar, confetti and redirects at zero, and removal of the “Powered by” line. Payments are processed by Wix through the Wix Billing System. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. If plans change, existing subscribers keep access to what they already paid for.
Refunds: subject to Wix’s standard refund policy for App Market subscriptions.
7. Service Availability
We strive to keep the App in good working order but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, freedom from bugs, or compatibility with every browser, device, or third-party Wix app. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App with reasonable notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of business, revenue, or data, including losses that result from a countdown showing a date or time you configured incorrectly. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to uninstall it.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your countdowns and the content you show with them, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is located, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
