Terms of Service — Before & After Photo Compare

1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using the Before & After Photo Compare app (“the App”) from the Wix App Market, you (“Site Owner”) agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install the App.
2. Description of Service
Before & After Photo Compare is a Wix App Market application that lets you show two photos of the same subject — before and after — in an interactive slider on your Wix website, and galleries of several such pairs. Some features are available only under a paid subscription.
3. License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Wix websites you own or manage.
4. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for the photos and texts you publish with the App. In particular you must:
- publish only photos you have the right to publish, with the consent of any person shown in them;
- not present edited or unrelated photos as a real result in a way that misleads people;
- not use the App to show unlawful content.
The sample comparison added when the App is first opened uses illustrations for demonstration only; it is never shown to your visitors.
5. Prohibited Uses
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App; resell or sublicense it; or create derivative works based on it.
6. Free and Paid Plans
Free plan: up to 3 live comparisons (any number of drafts), each showing one before/after pair, with every shape, direction, handle, label, colour, border and shadow setting. A small “Made with Before & After Photo Compare” line is shown under the widget.
Premium plan: unlimited live comparisons, galleries of up to 24 pairs, a slider that follows the mouse, label fonts, and removal of the “Made with” line. Payments are processed by Wix through the Wix Billing System. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Returning to the Free plan deletes nothing: comparisons and settings are kept, and Premium parts are simply not shown.
Refunds: subject to Wix’s standard refund policy for App Market subscriptions.
7. Service Availability
We strive to keep the App in good working order but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, or freedom from bugs. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App with reasonable notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of business, revenue, or data. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to uninstall it.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, the photos and texts you publish, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is located, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
