Terms of Service — Quiz Maker

1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using the Quiz Maker app (“the App”) from the Wix App Market, you (“Site Owner”) agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install the App.
2. Description of Service
Quiz Maker is a Wix App Market application that lets you build trivia and personality quizzes, display them on your Wix website through a widget, optionally collect names and email addresses from visitors, add them to your Wix contacts, and see basic usage counts. Some features are available only under a paid subscription.
3. License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Wix websites you own or manage.
4. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for the questions, answers, results, images, links and texts you configure, for the rights to any images you use, and for the personal data you collect from your visitors through the App. Quizzes are for entertainment and information; you must not present a quiz result as professional advice. You must:
- check that every quiz gives the results you intend before publishing it;
- have a lawful basis for collecting and processing visitors’ details;
- disclose the collection in your own site’s privacy policy;
- honour data-subject requests using the delete tools in the dashboard and in Wix.
You may not use the App for unlawful purposes, to collect data from children in violation of applicable law, to run contests, sweepstakes or prize draws without complying with the rules that apply to them, or to send unsolicited messages to the people who left their details.
5. Prohibited Uses
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App; resell or sublicense it; or create derivative works based on it.
6. Free and Paid Plans
Free plan: two live quizzes with up to ten questions each, unlimited plays and leads, all templates and themes, share buttons and Wix contacts sync. A small “Made with Quiz Maker” line is shown under the quiz.
Premium plan: up to 100 live quizzes with up to 50 questions each, a question timer, webhooks, CSV export, custom colors and fonts, longer insights, and removal of the “Made with” line. Payments are processed by Wix through the Wix Billing System. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. If plans change, existing subscribers keep access to what they already paid for.
Refunds: subject to Wix’s standard refund policy for App Market subscriptions.
7. Service Availability
We strive to keep the App in good working order but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, freedom from bugs, or compatibility with every browser, device, or third-party Wix app. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App with reasonable notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of business, revenue, or data, including losses that result from quiz content or results that you configured. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to uninstall it.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your quizzes and collected data, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is located, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
