Terms of Service — FAQ Accordion

1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using the FAQ Accordion app (“the App”) from the Wix App Market, you (“Site Owner”) agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install the App.
2. Description of Service
FAQ Accordion & Help Center is a Wix App Market application that lets you write questions and answers (typed in, pasted or imported from a file) and display them on your Wix website through a widget with categories, search and links to single questions. Some features are available only under a paid subscription.
3. License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Wix websites you own or manage.
4. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for the content of your FAQs, including answers, prices, policies, links and images. In particular you must:
- publish only content you are entitled to publish, including any personal data of other people;
- keep answers about prices, delivery, returns, opening hours and other facts accurate and up to date;
- replace the example wording of templates (marked with [brackets]) with your own before making an FAQ live.
The sample FAQ added when the App is first opened is fictional, for illustration only, and is never shown on your published site until you replace its questions with your own. You may not use the App for unlawful purposes or to mislead visitors.
5. Prohibited Uses
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App; resell or sublicense it; or create derivative works based on it.
6. Free and Paid Plans
Free plan: three live FAQs with up to 300 questions each, four layouts, eight themes, accent color, categories, search, links to single questions, structured data, eight interface languages, import and backups. A small “Made with FAQ Accordion” line is shown under the FAQ.
Premium plan: unlimited live FAQs, two additional layouts, custom colors and fonts, a separate FAQ for each language of a multilingual site, and removal of the “Made with” line. Payments are processed by Wix through the Wix Billing System. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. If you return to the Free plan nothing is deleted. If plans change, existing subscribers keep access to what they already paid for.
Refunds: subject to Wix’s standard refund policy for App Market subscriptions.
7. Service Availability
We strive to keep the App in good working order but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, freedom from bugs, or compatibility with every browser, device or third-party Wix app. Search engines decide on their own whether and how they show FAQ content; we do not promise any particular search result. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App with reasonable notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of business, revenue, or data, including losses that result from the information you published. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to uninstall it.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, the content you publish with it, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is located, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
