1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using the Accessibility Widget app (“the App”) from the Wix App Market, you (“Site Owner”) agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install the App.

2. Description of Service

The Accessibility Widget is a Wix App Market application that adds an accessibility toolbar to your Wix website. The toolbar provides tools for site visitors to adjust visual presentation (fonts, colors, contrast, etc.) and navigation according to their individual needs.

3. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Wix websites you own or manage.

4. Accessibility Compliance Disclaimer

The Accessibility Widget is designed to assist in improving the user experience for visitors with disabilities and to demonstrate a good-faith commitment to digital accessibility.

The App does not guarantee full compliance with any specific accessibility standard, including but not limited to:

  • WCAG 2.0, 2.1, or 2.2 (any level)
  • ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act)
  • EAA (European Accessibility Act)
  • Section 508
  • AODA

Achieving legal compliance with accessibility regulations requires a comprehensive approach that includes the design and development of your website content itself, which is outside the scope of this App.

We recommend consulting a qualified accessibility specialist for compliance audits.

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Resell or sublicense the App to third parties
  • Modify or create derivative works based on the App

6. Free and Paid Plans

Free Plan: All accessibility toolbar features are available at no charge.

Pro Plan (if applicable): Additional features such as a feedback email button are available under a paid subscription. Payments are processed by Wix through the Wix Billing System. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.

Refunds: Refund requests are subject to Wix’s standard refund policy for App Market subscriptions.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain the App in good working order. However, we do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted availability of the App
  • That the App will be free from errors or bugs
  • Compatibility with all browsers, devices, or third-party Wix apps

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time with reasonable notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of business, revenue, or data
  • Accessibility-related legal claims or regulatory penalties against your website

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to uninstall it.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or violation of any third-party rights.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this document will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is located, without regard to conflict of law principles.
